Clear Skin Foundations (Free Guide)

The exact first steps I use with clients to support acne-prone skin

Calm your skin.
Quiet the food noise.

Adult acne tangled up with food rules.

I help busy, professional women calm problem skin by working on what’s going on underneath, with realistic nutrition grounded in science, not more restrictions.

Adult acne, food rules, and a life on pause

Does this sound familiar?

  • Your acne flares before your period and you’re sick of relying on makeup, filters and carefully chosen lighting.

  • You catch yourself mirror‑checking, editing photos or avoiding cameras and Zoom calls on bad skin days.

  • You’ve quietly built up a list of fear foods and rules because you’re scared certain foods will make your acne worse.

  • Your bloating, pain or bathroom habits make you plan life around your gut instead of your diary.

  • You’re juggling work, home and hormones and feel exhausted before you’ve even opened your emails.

The effects of acne, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea can be devastating to your well-being. It's incredibly frustrating when treatments only work while you are using them, and your skin rebels the moment you stop. It chips away at your confidence at work, in photos and on Zoom, far more than people realise. And when you feel you have to control every mouthful, just to keep your skin in check, it can be completely soul-destroying.

I know how this feels

I spent most of my twenties with painful hormonal acne. Make-up followed me everywhere, along with the stress and anxiety of worrying what people must be thinking, and what foods were "safe" to eat to stop another breakout. I know how draining it is when your skin, gut or hormones feel out of control, and your relationship with food is too. You're doing your best, but nothing seems to shift.

How I can support you

That’s where I come in: helping you understand what your body needs and creating a plan that works for you as an individual. We focus on practical, achievable changes built around your real life, which is already full to the brim. I'm trained in disordered eating and body image work, so we will always look after your relationship with food alongside your skin and hormone health, not sacrifice one for the other.

A relaxed call to talk about your skin and food, get some initial direction and see if working together feels right

My Approach

Behind the scenes, your skin is linked to what you eat, how your gut and hormones are coping, and how stressed your system feels. My work focuses on three pillars:

EAT (4).png

Nourish yourself

with nutrient rich foods

Repair and rebalance

your gut and hormones

It's time for you -

movement, relaxation and sleep

What My Clients Say

"Louise has quite literally changed my life. Feeling properly listened to for the first time in over 5 years about my struggles with gut health she helped me finally get the answers I needed to start building better habits and healing my gut.

Not only did the work I do with Louise massively impact my physical health but it's also given me so much confidence to do things I felt I couldn't easily before"
