A Bit About Me

Hello, I’m Louise, a postgraduate qualified Nutritional Therapist (PGDip Personalised Nutrition), and I help people like you feel more at home and more confident in their own skin and body.

I understand what it's like to feel self-conscious

I spent most of my twenties with painful hormonal acne. I caked on layer upon layer of makeup which hid it to a point, but I was painfully aware that no amount of makeup could completely mask it. When I became pregnant, my skin cleared and, for the first time in years, I left the house without makeup. It was such a liberating feeling. Needless to say, I was devastated when, once I stopped breastfeeding, it all came back again.

Around this time, I discovered nutritional therapy. My daughter had reflux and eczema and, after months of medication, I tried a simple dietary change: I stopped eating dairy. Overnight she was a different child and, within a week, she was off all her medication. It made me wonder if looking at my diet could help with other things too. Could it help my insanely irregular and painful periods? Could it help me feel less exhausted all the time? Could it lift that low, flat feeling I had come to think of as normal?

The more I learned, the more fascinated I became by how targeted nutrition and lifestyle changes can support the body back towards better balance. But the key piece that really landed for me was personalisation.

Just because cutting out dairy helped my daughter does not mean it is the answer for every baby with reflux and eczema – and it is the same for acne, hormones, energy and everything else.

I made a big decision and left my marketing career to pursue a postgraduate degree in Personalised Nutrition at the Centre for Nutrition Education & Lifestyle Management (CNELM).

During this time, I worked on my own diet and lifestyle.

Not only did my acne clear (goodbye painful cysts), but I had energy again, my periods became regular and pain-free, my bloating settled, and I felt – and still feel – happier, calmer and more like myself.

Two years later (and two more babies later), I qualified and began my journey to help other women feel more energised, confident in their skin, and supported by their bodies, rather than at war with them.

My approach is simple and practical

I have a food-first philosophy, but I am equally passionate about helping you find realistic ways to look after yourself in the middle of real life. I am here to provide support and gentle accountability as you make changes and embed them into your daily routine for the long term – not just for a “good” week.
