A Bit About Me

Hello, I'm Louise...

I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist and I help people, like you, feel beautifully confident in their skin. I understand what it's like to feel self-conscious, as I spent most of my twenties with painful hormonal acne. Caking on layer upon layer of make up hid it to a certain extent but I was always embarrassingly aware that no amount of makeup could completely mask it. When I became pregnant, my skin cleared up and, for the first time in years, I left the house without makeup on. It was such a liberating feeling! Needless to say I was devastated when once I stopped breastfeeding, it all came back again. 

However in this time I had discovered nutritional therapy. My daughter suffered with reflux and eczema and after months of medication I decided to try a simple dietary change - I stopped eating dairy. Overnight she was a different child, and within a week she was off all of her medication. I couldn't help but wonder if looking at my own diet could help with other conditions too. Could it help with my insanely irregular and painful periods? Could it help me not feel so exhausted all the time? And could it help me not feel so down in the dumps?

As I looked into it more and more I was fascinated by the concept of nutritional therapy, and that by addressing any underlying imbalances, with not just dietary but also lifestyle changes, we can support the body to be in optimal health. But key to this is being personalised. Just because cutting out dairy helped my daughter, it doesn't mean it is the solution for all babies with reflux and eczema. 

I made a life changing decision and left my marketing career behind me to sign up to do a postgraduate degree in Personalised Nutrition with the Centre for Nutrition Education & Lifestyle Management (CNELM). During this time, I addressed my own diet and lifestyle and not only did my acne clear up... goodbye painful cysts... but I was full of energy, my periods were regular and pain free and I felt, and still do to this day, happy and vibrant. Two years later (and two more babies later!) I qualified and began my journey to help other women feel energised, confident and beautiful. 

My approach is very simple and practical. I have a food first philosophy, but importantly also feel passionately about helping you find time for you. I am here to provide you support and accountability as you begin your transformation journey and embed these changes into your daily routine for life.
